Jeanne Lai (b. January 5, 2001, Taipei) is a Taiwanese artist exploring the intricate and paradoxical relationships between humans and animals. She graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Taiwan National University of Arts and is currently studying Painting at the Frank Mohr Institute in the Netherlands.
Lai is drawn to animals more than humans, yet she sees their reflections in one another. This duality drives her exploration of dominance and dependence, two forces that shape interactions between species and within human relationships. Through her work, she examines these tensions, questioning where the boundaries between self and other, control and submission, truly lie.
